Our set this morning:

“Glory to God Forever” [Steve Fee]
“All Because of Jesus” [Steve Fee]
“Hosanna” [Brooke Fraser, arr. by Starfield]
“Cannons” [Phil Wickham]
“We Crown You” [Steve Fee and Eddie Kirkland]
Invitation: “Mighty to Save” [Ben Fielding and Reuben Morgan]
Offertory: “It is Well” [Trad. arr. by Todd Fields]

This morning went really well, all things considered. Corey (drums), Sal (bass), Andrew (guitar), and I were all exhausted from a long weekend of leading worship for our friends at West Bradenton Baptist Church for their Disciple Now Weekend. Thankfully, it didn’t affect us too much. We introduced “We Crown You” by Steve Fee and Eddie Kirkland, and it was a great song. We’ll repeat it next week and see how the congregation catches on to it. I love the lyric, and I would put it on par with “How Great is Our God” and “Lord of All” in my book, as far as exalting God in a powerful and clear way.

We got a little bit off of the click this morning, because I made some minor adjustments in my in-ear monitors, which buried the click in the mix to the point that I couldn’t hear it at all. We got back on track, and it went well despite.

God is really working in our midst, and I’m excited about where we’re heading! Glory to God.

Bill

  1. Thanks for posting Bill. In looking over your list, I realized I had not heard We Crown You. Just went to listen to it on YouTube – awesome song!
