Bio

I am a singer-songwriter/worship leader/college pastor based in Topeka, KS. I love the Lord Jesus Christ, my bride Diane, my kids, and the Church. I like guitars, good music, the outdoors, working on vehicles, knives, weightlifting, sleep, Greek, reading, and movies, in no particular order. I’m learning how to do this web thing (I feel a little behind), and I hope I can, in some way, encourage and edify (and sometimes entertain) those who visit this site.

In the Son,

Bill

Hi Bill.. My name is Angela Swihart and my husband and I Love listening to you sing worship on Sundays. We can be going through some pretty rough times, being marriage, finances, work, kids, whatever the situation, and we always leave feeling lifted up! I’m so glad you have the playlists up again! I’ve been trying to find the song you’ve sung at church, but can’t find it. Goes something like I need you Jesus, I need clean hands, I cant you can… I love that song! 🙂 Keep up the good work. My husband and I love the church, however, worship is a big part for us, and we always look forward to hearing you 🙂 Thanks for everything you do.. You have helped us more than you will ever realize by lifting us up and giving us that little extra we need to get through the week!

Angela, thank you so much for your kind and encouraging words. The song to which you are referring is “I Need You” by Kristian Stanfill. That’s one of my favorites, to be sure. Let me know if you have trouble finding it! See you Sunday!

Bill,I have been trying to get my son in church for years and he never wanted to go . Frankly he said they were boring. It wasn’t until he attended the 9:30 worship service that he got interested. Thanks to your style of worship it has brought a lot of young people to Christ. He was baptized 3 weeks ago and went to the new members class last week !! We are both fans and hope you stick around for a long time 🙂
